S'more Desserts

Two s'mores stacked on top of each other.

Welcome back to the blog for Barrington Place Apartments. Did you know that August 10th is National S’mores Day? S’mores are a classic summer tradition at any campout or bonfire. To help you celebrate this fun holiday, we are sharing a few recipes for you to try at your Madison, WI apartment this month. Try one of these s’mores desserts before summer ends.

S’mores Dipped Apples from Taste of Home
The idea of this recipe is similar to that of a caramel apple, but we think it’s even better. You will need Granny Smith apples, wooden popsicle sticks or skewers, butter, marshmallows, coarsely crushed graham crackers, and milk chocolate chips.

S’mores Cheesecake from Delish
You won’t even need your oven for this tasty recipe. This no-bake cheesecake will be the star of any summer picnic or party. To make it, you will need chocolate chips, heavy cream, graham crackers, sugar, salt, cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and mini marshmallows.

Marshmallow Caramel Oreo Cookie S’mores Bars from Averie Cooks
It doesn’t get much better than these cookie s’mores bars. The Oreo cookie crumb crust is topped with caramel, marshmallows, and chocolate for a campfire worthy treat that you will fall in love with after a single bite.

Pretzel S’mores from Love from the Oven
We think you will love these chocolate covered pretzel sandwiches with a marshmallow and chocolate center. Salty and sweet flavors complement each other nicely in this tasty dessert.

S’mores Muffins from Genius Kitchen
These s’mores muffins are perfect for an on-the-go breakfast when you need something portable. To make them, you will need all-purpose flour, graham cracker crumbs, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, eggs, buttermilk, vegetable oil, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and mini marshmallows.
